Small Business Saturday is November 26th, and to celebrate, we’d like to highlight some of our local partners. Whether you’re looking for the latest in fashion, jewelry, or holiday decorations, these businesses have got you covered.
Aille Design (pronounced “eye” design) was established in Toronto, Ontario, but recently made Buffalo it’s new home! They offer a variety of clothing, all embroidered with messaging in braille.
This year, Aille Design worked with VIA: Visually Impaired Advancement’s clients and staff to model and promote their message of inclusivity and accessibility across the fashion world. Additionally, a percentage of all their sales this year will be donated to VIA in support of our services. Check out their website and collection here:
Embrace the Difference
Embrace the Difference is a jewelry company that has donated over $400,000 to Western New York charities since its inception, with VIA being one of their proud charity partners. It was founded by Robyn Zimmer, whose mission was, as the name suggests, to embrace our differences in individuality and make the world a better place. You may indicate VIA as your charity of choice when purchasing jewelry, and a percentage of sales this year will be donated to VIA in support of our services. Embrace the Difference’s shop includes necklaces, bracelets, rings, and more, and can be found at Reed Jewelers or online at
